goody bun spiral HELP

i bought this product, the goody bun spiral,(it is the big spiral, no the little spirals) and i have trouble using it, you suppose to place all your hair through it but it is really small, does someone had find a way to use, (i have long hair, so maybe it was made for short hair girls) thank you

I have this to and I gave up on it because I could never make it look good. The spin pins are great but the bum spiral just flat out SUCKS!
