So, I love MAC and I own a good amount but I noticed what I have isn't basic and I think I should have basic things. Haha. So what do you recommend for a starter kit?

What kind of things do you have? Because I dont think you necessarily need all the basics in MAC, you may not even like them as well as other products and they could be more expensive than something that might work better for you. Maybe try to find mulitple brands to make up your collection that works best for your skin/eyes/etc, and make it unique to you! That's just a thought tho!
But if you want to make a starter kit, look at your collection and find the things you have that arent working for you, say maybe foundation or blushes, and try the MAC versions of them! I guess the basics would be, foundation, powder, blush, mascara, liner, shadow, lipstick/gloss.. oh wait, that's a lot of things.. lol
I dont know where Im going with this, lol, but if you wanna try something new, go for the MAC prep and prime translucent powder - I LOVE it!!!

I just got my mac starter kit and watched a lot of videos about this :D And the things people seem to recommend is: a mineralized skinfinish natural, a paintpot, a blush, a lipstick and four eyeshadows...all in natural colours.
The natural colours thing is very important, but i don't think the thing I got would suit your skintone ;) But I'm sure there is a lot of other girls with great recommendations!

I don't own much mac anyways, but if I was to own only one mac lipstick I would chose the sheen supreme in bare again. It's a color you can wear everyday and I love the formula. I can't say much about any other mac product because I don't own multiples of any other product.
