Does anyone know how to lighten hair quickly? I dyed my hair black almost a year ago and it was a mistake I've lived with it so long because I don't want to bleach it but I don't know of any other quick fix! HELP!!

Please... please... please don't bleach your hair! Permanent hair color, especially black will not remove easily with bleach. You will also have very light roots where your natural hair has grown out. Doing so will cause damage to your hair, not to mention turn it into this horrible orange color. As a color specialist, I only use RUSK Elimin8 color corrector. It gently removes unwanted oxidative (permanent) hair color. Using Sulfur (not a harsh bleach) this shrinks the dye molecule and allows it to wash out of hair during the shampooing process. I would recommend going to a professional to get it corrected.
Good luck !!

I would definitely go to a professional. Black is very hard to get rid of, its not an easy process and you don't want to damage your hair.

as bad as it is for your hair, you can get it stripped by a professional if you cant live with the black any longer.
or you can do a few dying sessions, and go a lighter brown each time easing your hair into the color you would like.
