I recently thought about starting my own makeup line. Definitely not right now while I'm in college but sometime in the future. I'm majoring in psychology, minoring in marketing and then I plan to get my MBA. Granted, my ultimate goal is to become a makeup artist and do that full time. BUT, I of course do need a degree to fall back on. Does anybody who has their own makeup line, or makeup business have any advice they would like to give. Or maybe your thinking about doing the same thing? I just need some pointers from some like-minded individuals! Thanks in advance! :)

You could always message some indie companies and ask them for advice. :) There's a couple that have been in it for a long time and some that are smaller but still good. ^^

Talk to the girls at Urban Decay; their story is downright inspiring. http://www.urbandecay.com/about-us/about_us,default,pg.html
I remember buying that first bottle of UD polish in Nuke 15 years ago, and I've been a fan since. You can do it too!
