I'm thinking about ordering some stuff from elf's website since I don't know where they sell it around here. & I have a half off coupon on all their professional studio line. Are there any really good must haves from them? I wanted to try the gel liner but I've never used gel liner before.

I recommend their HD powder! I've also heard their brushes and the blushes from the studio line are good, but I've never tried them.

I recommend their studio blushes! I have candid coral and it is one of my favorite blushes! Also their cream eye shadows are very pigmented!

The gel liner is good if you want to try it out, the studio brushes are pretty good, and the HD powder is good.

Are gel liners hard to use? I've never used one before!

I recommend the Studio Blush in the color Tickled Pink...it kind of reminds me of NARS Orgasm! Just less pricey:)

I find gel liners to be easy to use VS. liquid liners - it all depends on your brush. Gel liners last longer too!

From ELF, I mostly enjoy their Studio line of tools - their 11pc. brush kit, their brush belt and brush holders are nice. I prefer my MUFE HD powder over ELF's version, but it certainly is a decent dupe.

If you don't like the coconut scent don't get the tinted lip-balms, the scent is really strong, too strong for me to use o.o ^_^

I'm currently OBSESSING over their glitter lip glosses. They smell & taste so much like MAC's now (Vanilla cake-ish) Already have 4 & planning on collecting them all!

The studio FACE brushes are fantastic! Their eye brushes are good as well, but honestly, the $1 brushes are just as good as the $3 ones. So it'd be all preference.

The studio blushes - GREAT. LOVE THEM,

HD powder is the finest powder you'll feel. It's great & makes your make up last so much longer.

Their cream eyeliner & great as well! I suggest buying their eyeliner brush or any small slanted brush from their webite though bc the brush that it comes with isn't very good. :)

I would say the hits in the Studio range are the following:

Studio Blushes-- I have the full range and they're surprisingly pigmented.
Eye Transformer-- makes any shadow duochrome
Blush/Bronze duo-- surprisingly good bronze shade/natural blush shade.
Angled Contour Brush--unusual shape but very useful, especially when blending near the crease.
Angled Eyeliner Brush--good affordable angled liner brush.
Small Angled Brush--great for brows and smudging eyeliner.
Studio HD Powder--not strictly comperable to MUFE HD Powder, but great in its own right.
Cream Shadows--decent pigmentation and long wear.

MISSES:
Cream Eyeliner--not pigmented. Purple color in particular is sheer.
Single Eyeshadows--better are available from drugstore brands at similar price points. Worth getting if you have the 50% or 60% coupon but not at full price.
Eyebrow Treat and Tame--color is unnatural and applicator is useless.
Tinted Moisturizer--has a weird smell that you are still aware of once it's on your face.
Lip Stains--they're not stains. They're weird creams that do not stain your lips.

Hope this helps. I'm a big fan of ELF in general, but they are hit and miss. Sometimes you get something fantastic, sometimes it goes right in the trash.

The studio powder brush! Really nice for applying foundation, bronzer, blush, soooo versatile!

The studio brushes are $3 and are as good as brushes that 10 times the price, so I would recommend those. I like their mineral line as well: the lip glosses are great, eye primer works as well as UDPP, and the Booster powder that I use to set my foundation are all excellent. The essential line (the $1 stuff) is not that great, but I do love the glitter eyeliners and the waterproof liquid liners - my liquid liners always dry out so quickly but these don't and even so, they're just $1!

Apply the gel liner with a bent liner brush and that makes it sooo easy!! or an angled brush either way pretty good lots of control :)
