Orangy Nude Lipstick as Salmon Concealer (under-eye)?

I just had the craziest idea mins ago of using my NYX Orange Soda Round Lipstick (orangy nude) as a salmon concealer for my undereye like the Eve Pearl ones everyone was raving about.

So i dab it with a concealer brush and apply gently under my eyes (oops one eye to compare) and topped it off with powder.

Results? Definitely saw the difference!! It covered my dark under-eye.

Lasting power I dare not say as I'm about to go to bed and I just had to simply try to if it works. I just washed them away.

Am I the only one who thought of this? Has anyone tried it before?

Yea was thinking of a way to use the lipstick which i rarely use and I'm new to color correcting and I don't use concealer most of the time but sometimes the eye screams for it. Thanks for the info of the salmon oil, thought it was the color haha.

I've heard of a lot of people using a nude lipstick as a concealer before. lol. I worry about break-outs though, I would imagine it can probably break you out in the actual face area. O.O

But if it works, it works!! My mom has been using lipstick as blush for 20+ years & she has no complaints. lol
