Hey Shalynn,
I wanted to throw some ideas at you because not only do I LOVE makeup, but I was also a competitive cheerleader for 8 years. There are a couple important things to be aware of when doing "cheering" makeup.
1) If you are doing makeup for a high school or middle school cheerleading team there may be state regulated rules dis-banning false lashes as well as GLITTER of any kind. On the other hand, in All-Star cheerleading both glitter and eye lashes are 100% okay!
2) Teams typically like their makeup to be dramatic and the eye makeup should portray the team colors
3) I suggest using lip glosses that are not overly sticky, this is due to the fact that many time (especially in All-Star cheerleading) teams wear their hair half up and half down and are tumbling. It does not look good to judges to see girls attempting to get their hair unstuck from their lipgloss in the middle of a routine! This said, most teams stick to non-sticky lipgloss or lipstick.
4) Finally, bronzer! Make sure to bronze your cheerleaders so that they glow when they are perform. When I cheered MAC's MSF's were my best friend! esp Sunny By Nature and Soft and Gentle!

Hope this helped! and Good LUCK!

Thanxx :) it really did I knew there was some rules to cheer makeup now I just have to find some teams to let me do their makeup

This is not to discourage you but both cheerleaders and dance team girls already spend thousands of dollars and the last thing they want to do is pay to get their makeup done. They tend to do their own makeup because they're not going to want to waste time taking turns getting it done or pay to get something done that they can do themselves.

I can't think of one dance or cheerleading team in my area that has ever paid to get their makeup done. Also keep in mind it's not necessarily up to the girls on how their makeup or hair is done but rather the coaches.

As for pageants, pageant makeup needs to be dramatic without looking tacky or trashy. Darker makeup is best because stage lights - at real pageants on stages and not in hotel conference rooms - tend to wash out makeup. Pageants held at conference rooms without major stage lights can be more on the dramatic side yet not as dark. Toddlers & Tiaras on TLC can give you a good idea on what some types of pageant makeup looks like. If you watch Miss USA, Miss America, Miss Teen USA and Miss America's Outstanding Teen then you'll see their makeup is done completely different.
