thats great. ideas on and for your blog should be about beauty. you can give tips and tricks on how you do eye shadow applications. kailyn has a good point when she said you can do holiday looks. do the looks based on the trends i guess and also the seasons that you guys experience. Tis the season so you can give Christmas party looks, New years holiday looks etc. as time go by you would gradually come up with ideas.

Lol I have this problem too! But whenever you can come up with an idea, don't forget to jot it down somewhere. If you're just starting, try coming up with some ideas first and try not to blog everyday, maybe space it out so your blog doesn't have a lot of post then all of a sudden stop because you ran out of an idea.
Try to post anything relevant of the moment. So right now you could blog about holiday looks, anything from winter related like how to moisturize for extra dry skin.
You could also blog about anything that relates to you, or anything you want to share that might be helpful to others.
You can always blog hop for ideas.
Good luck!

You can blog about whatever you like, it's your space! I do looks, hauls, reviews, monthly favourites and wish lists, and the odd how-to's every now and again (like how to clean your brushes, how to make homemade lip gloss etc...) And don't be afraid to make some personal posts, we want to see who you are! :)

Margaret, you are completely right. You don't need to be an expert or the make-up/beauty 101 guru, but it is important to know what you are talking about. If you're ever unsure about something, always ask or Google, lol. And no, you do not need to do beauty videos. It is not a requirement. Some people are just all blogging, some are just all videos. It is nice however to have at least one video every blue moon, depending on what you're talking about. It's nice to match a blogger with face and tune! Gives more relationship to the blogger, blog, and readers. And even if you do a video, it doesn't have to be a tutorial if that's what you're referring to. It could be anything of a review or haul and such.
