With so many things going in and out of fashion, what makeup/beauty fads would you love to see go away forever, or come back from the dead?

I agree with Andrew...too much orange going around :)
I am tired of everyone rocking the ombre hairstyle..I would like to see more of natural happening

I HAAAAAATe the huge big teased hair with the four bumpits underneath that teenagers these days are "rockin." *Shudder*

Yes! Those are two I wish would go away.
I used to be super super tan (not quite Snooki tan thankfully) and my skin hates me for it. Now I'm super super pale lol but at least I wont be as wrinkly if I stay away from the tanning bed.

I see both sides. I think all skin colors are beautiful when they are natural or altered subtly, but highlighter orange is not a natural skin color.
@Steff I know right? lol. I think thick voluminous hair is pretty, but not when your hair has a drop off! lol.

Spider lashes, WHY DID YOU BECOME FASHIONABLE?!

I'd love to see the "Scarecrow Hair" fall off the trendy list, the super-straightened razor cut hair-do with the raggedy ends-- It's been popular so long I'm afraid it may become classic...yikes.

Over tanning. I had a girl tell me she wished she had my caramel complexion as she was leaving the tanning room at my gym. She was a bottle blond and on her way to being as dark as me. She wasn't even a body builder. YUCK!!!

Different for me is natural...I don't seem to see that anymore. I am not against color or anyone using it...I mean in terms of people over exaggerating..like overdrawn eyebrows or orange fake tans..

I would LOVE 1920s makeup to come back in style. It looked a little harsh, but I love harsh. I am pretty open to a lot of experimental/trendy beauty looks so I can't say that I dislike some fads. I even think orange skin can look cool like on the Japanese Cocogyaru girls (it's pretty extreme).
I've always been natural-adverse to a certain extent. It's far too common to blend in for my liking. It's okay on others, but I like to experiment and play a little more extreme on myself and I've rarely seen long hair and said "wow, I love her hair".

I love pale! I'm not, but I wish I was. The grass is forever greener on the other side.
I want my red lipstick obsession to be acceptable. Sometimes when I wear it, people straight up tell me I look like a trollop. And here I am wearing jeans and a sweater, I don't even have a bra strap showing, and I look promiscuous because of my lipstick?!

All of these made me laugh, mainly the tanning one. I live in Oregon where it rains 9 months out of the year and I see girls from the college with DEEP tans and can't help but want to shake them and say they aren't fooling anyone!

Amelia it makes me so happy to see a girl wearing red lipstick! I get bored of the nude concealer lips that has taken over the world today. Keep doing it!

Agreed @Cameron&@Amelia...Love bright lip colors-so much fun! But, so many people I know just don't get it. Lets get over the nude pout as an everyday look & bring on the color:) Oh, and definitely cringe at the fake-tan Jersey Shore look..just plain tacky:\

@AndreaG- I agree! I hate the clumpy spider mascara! It scares me to look at people because I'm afraid it really is a spider and it will crawl away >.<

There is apparently a trend going on right now where clumpy lashes are supposed to be in fashion... WHY WHY WHY.

There are a couple of things I wish would go out of style, lol! The big fake spider eyelashes that are so big you can't see the persons eyes. The eyebrows that are drawn on looking like sperm eyebrows, lol. People wearing leggings and not wearing a top that is long enough to cover their butts or other parts that don't look so great. And last but not least the bad tanning job that makes the person look oranger than an orange, lol.

I completely agree with Terra. I buy a bunch of makeup to look great & wear great looks. Not to make my face look naked!
Granted, it's all preference, but I don't want to be looked down upon for wearing a smokey eye at noon!

@Genette OH MY GOD my life's pet peeve is leggings worn as pants without covering your butt! WHY?! whose idea was it to wear the most form-fitting, sometimes see-through item without covering your hind quarters???

Jeffrey Campbell's.... GO AWAY.

This thread cracks me up!
I wish the fad of the no eyebrows or drawn on eyebrows would GO AWAY.
Style that I wished stayed around forever...I love and wished I had those gorgeous thick-ish eyebrows but mine go in all sorts of funky directions.
Another pet peeve I have is the Brooklyn dirty hipster look. You NYCers know the ones...the kind that spend so much time getting ready to look like they just rolled out of bed....yea...those...ick.
I wish people weren't afraid to be COLORFUL. I want to see more colors on people's faces, gosh darnit!

Neon! Hate it... Neon nails, neon necklaces.... Tanning, love natural looking skin. Jersey shore, go away! And all those reality shows and spin offs: the bachellor, the bachelloret, etc.

FEATHERS!!! It is in no way fashionable to wear a product of animal suffering! whenever i see someone wearing a feather hair piece I am like look at the idiot that thinks wearing a mangled dead bird on her head is sexy.

I'm sick of seeing girls in my area who wear cluster lashes the wrong way. I always see girls with huge gobs of black glue all over their lashline, then the lashes themselves are massive and tangled and all the same xxxxl length. Just...ughhhh!!
