Ok, so I have a very short bob to my jawline. & I'm dying to have long hair again. Is my hair to short for hair extensions?

Depends on the type of extensions. Bonding, linkies, shrinkies or extendtubes one of those should work. Braiding and weaving your hair might be too short but I've never done braiding or weaving extensions before..

Lacey if your hair is all chin length then you could have your hair weaved, depends on the hair extension technicians braiding ability.
I would suggest weaving over other types, ive been wearing extensions for the last 10 years and I specialise in hair extensions and would highly recommend you for a weave.

If your hair is too defined, it might look obvious with extensions so you MIGHT have to cut it/shape it. But it all depends on what kind of extensions you get, the color, and hair type.

A friend of mine had a short-ish bob style (she has coarse, Asian hair) and went with the kind of extentions that you clamp on with a small piece of metal. They looked fantastic on her but she had to style it every day before she went out. I think what matters more than what kind you get is how much effort you're willing to put in styling-wise to hide them.

Nope. Just make sure to get the hair layered to match your hair length now. That way it looks natural. :)

I had those clip in extensions that Angela had mentioned, mine were human hair so I was able to cut and dye them when I needed to! I will admit, when I first got them my hair was light weight shaved in the back, it was a Rihanna/Victoria Beckham a-line creation haha, so I did need to style them to make sure it didn't look like a mullet or too obviously that they were extensions! I love my clip in ones< I still use them time to time but my hair has grown out a lot now, probably more than they would have if I got them weaved in I think that would have hurt my hair!

With the right extension technician there should not be a problem. I don't know what your budget is or where you are located but the salon I work for has an amazing extension person, http://wp.me/p1yJPC-14
