I just watched all of season 1 on demand just in time to catch season 2 that premiered two weeks ago. Its a special effects makeup competition, so far it's been pretty cool. What do you guys think?

Yeah the thing about season 1 that bothered me the most was every time they announced the judges they had to announce their work as well so you'd hear the same thing like 2 or 3 times per show, it was like give it a rest we know what they've done already its the 5th episode! lol

I watched season 1 on Demand!!! I have tons of respect for Special effects makeup artists they do a lot of hard work, I thought about doing that myself and after seeing what they have to do I think I really am more into beauty makeup!!! lol I still enjoy watching the show tho!
@ Ashley- That ANNOYED me too! Do they have the same judges in season 2? I also didn't like the drama between Jo and Megan, it made me mad that the females on the show had to have drama it really fed into that stereotype! Although, the drama was minimal compared to other reality competitions.

They have strayed away from that in season 2 now they just mention it in the beginning and not every time the judges name is called lol
I was really disappointed with that as well they could have handled their differences way better.

So far only the last 4 episodes of season one are available on the syfy site but hopefully they will add the season 2 ones. if you have on demand or anything like that they should be on there I have xfinity and they are on mine.

I love special effects makeup. I do some on my own in my house, and I wanted to go to school for it so badly but couldnt afford it x.x
I'm nowhere near as amazing as these artists though. I have no experience with molds and appliances and stuff, but It's so cool! I love how they show the entire process of the makeups.
I posted one of my own amateur effects for good measure xD

I also really like how they show the whole process or most of it anyway I don't think I'd ever be creative enough to do that but to those that do more power to you! :)

I love the show!!! I record it on Directv. :P I'm so amazed by what they do, it would be so fun to learn how to do it! But my life is dedicated to Architecture. Still, I love to watch it! So interesting...
