Recently, I've been having this problem, where even after two or three days, my nail polish can just start peeling off in sheets! Like, my whole nail color will just lift in a corner, so I'll peel it, and all of it comes off. I've never really had this before. Today I was wearing a Sally Hansen color I put on two days ago, and tonight it was coming off in sheets!
Before that, I was wearing a Pure Ice silver polish, and once again, it started coming off in sheets.
I've been using a Sally Hansen hard as nails strengthener as a base coat, so I'm thinking that might be my problem. Seeing as I've never really had this happen much before, and that silver has NEVER ever done that to me, and I wear it all the time!
Help?

I would definately make sure you clean off your nail bed with acetone before you polish. It helps get any oils and residue off. Maybe try a different base coat. I use OPI chip skip at the salon, it acts as a temporary nail dehydrator and helps prep the nail for polish. First you put chip skip on then base coat and of course your color and top coat. I hope that helps. There's nothing more annoying than nail polish chipping. Good luck!

Your nail may be oily, which will make the nail polish adhere less. So be sure to buff your nails before applying nail polish, so that it can adhere better. I'm going to post a nail tips video in a few days, if you want to subscribe to my youtube. ;)

I had no idea nails could be 'oily' xD Kinda weird, but ?I'd believe it. I'm not having any problems with the manicure I just did on Sunday yet, obviously the tips are wearing off because I'm constantly using my hands and whatnot, but no peeling yet!
Thanks for the tips. I'll have to keep an eye out for your video!

Yup, definitely kinda weird. Hope that it helps, because that used to happen to me. It actually stopped the most when I switched my base coat, so be sure to do that too. Of course now, I'm using the base coat that used to make me peel, and now it doesn't. Ah well.
