I get them done all the time. The key is to be frequent with it. Like don't just wax once and let the pain deter you from the next visit you will notice you either become oblivious to it or it just stops hurting less. I also go to European Wax Center and their waxing method hurts far less than any other I've experienced. A. the wax isn't HOT and B. the wax doesn't cling to your skin, just to the hairs. But to be honest, waxing is better than shaving ANY day! Your skin just looks perfect at the bikini line

So is it kind of like how when you first start waxing your eyebrows it hurts but then once you've done it a few times its not so bad? Ya know, but on a MUCH bigger scale. ;) And does less hair come back over time like eyebrows do?

Yeah especially with Brazilians. the more you do it the less they hurt. The way it was explained to me by a professional is that after a while (probably a long while) ur hair follicles start shrinking bc the hair growing back is thinner. Hence why it hurts less. Also like I said places like EWC where the wax adheres to the actualy hair and NOT the skin, are the best. Most of the pain from conventional waxing comes from the wax strip ripping off from your skin!

I have never had it because I am afraid of the pain (says the woman who gave birth to two children). LOL

It really isn't as painful as I thought it was going to be. I recommend this wax to any girl, weather you're sexually active or not. It just feels nice!

I'm not as worried about the pain, I'm more worried at how awkward it would be... >.<

I'm brazilian, it doesn't hurt at all. You just need to get used to it. I've been doing it for almost 7 years. and... this topic made me think, if you don't do wax, what do you do then??? i mean... o_o XD
And yes, the more you do it, the more thinner your hair grows.

@myrna did u go blonde? Love! So as a pro cosmetologist, I don't do these, but I have done them for myself a few times...let's just say it is never fun or comfortable, but the results are always worth it?

Yes, I mean worth it!!

I have been seriously contemplating this lately! How much should a brazilian wax run you? And about how long does it last before you need to go back?
Mar 18, 2012
Gisele L.
@Britt B.
about how it lasts, it really deppends.
I'd love to do it every month, but I haven't found someone trustful in this town. But when I'm back home, I do it about once per month and, when I'm lucky, once in almost 2 months.

I shave down there and it gets itchy when hair grows back, is waxing any different?
