I have hooded eyes and have a problem w/liner transfering to my lid. I've tried setting it w/power shadow or translucent powder and that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Try closing your eyes after you apply the liner for about thirty seconds to a minute and let the liner dry, when you open your eyes it shouldnt transfer onto your lid.

Thanks, I'll try waiting a little longer before opening my eyes.

My eyes are slightly hooded as well, and it could be the particular liners you're using. Most pencil liners don't transfer for me, but I have problems with some liquid liners. Hard Candy's Stroke of Gorgeous felt tip eyeliners aren't wet, so they dry super fast and they don't budge. Gels are really nice, too.
I hope that helps!

Another thing you can try is, instead of lining your upper lash line, to line your upper waterline. (It will take some practice, and it will feel awkward at first; just take your time.)

I have relatively hooded lids too, I just put eyeshadow primer under my eyeliner. Works well for me!
