Hi everyone! not sure where i should really post this...
since winter (and heck even during summer) noticed that the skin around my nose gets so dry, and no matter how much i exfoliate and moisturize, when i apply any type of concealer or powder.. it cakes/flakes like crazy and i hate it..
the rest of my face though is so soft/supple from the exfoliating and moisturizing - it's just the area around the nose :(
what do you all recommend?

put some vasaline around that area or a primer with a silicone base

I would say try not to exfoliate too much as may aggravate the situation, other than that it might be a good idea to speak to someone on a skincare counter and ask which moisturiser would be best.

i have exactly the same problem my nose area each side is complete dry/flakey/red, you name it. i usually use a deep moisturiser maybe a bit of exfoiliation first but keep on top of that moisturiser :D
i recoomend crystal clear repair serum but thats a bit too pricey, anything from vaseline intense moister cream which is very cheap about £2 - 4.50

Try using a face primer before your foundation around the dry skin areas. I just watched a YouTube video on this, and the person was saying that the too faced primed and poreless primer is great for this problem.

thanks everyone - gonna stop by sephora and ask to see what they recommend. I've actually tried vasaline/aquaphor, but i just feel like it clogs the area and gives me whiteheads..
ahh it sucks! lol, cause even when i don't have makeup on, it looks fine, but once i put anything on, it's so freaking dry looking i hate it.

I have the same problem, only mine goes through cycles of being extremely dry and extremely oily. I use honey straight from the jar and it works pretty well :)
