Coconut oil is great, you can use a little bit as a serum, or do a hair mask. You could also use any other oil you have at home :)

Hair Masks are great. I also use Argan Oil which really helps moisturize your hair.

Deep conditions should be done frequently. A good inexpensive one you can get in Duane reade. Hollywood olive conditioner its $5 and I have gotten 10 uses out of it and I have long hair.

I always find that when I apply the oil (make sure the scalp gets some love too!), I generously add it as my hair from root to tip as it's drying in a towel after washing. Once it's dry, I add a heat protectant to the ends, then pull out my blow dryer and paddle brush. Then my flat iron of course..
And honestly, I change the oils I use, sometimes aragan, sometimes some pricey brand name oil, other times I'll use extra virgin olive oil from my kitchen cupboard (i swear it's god's gift..lol)....personally I don't think it matters..but that's just me, it's just about HOW you use it. Good luck girl! ;)

I personally love using grapeseed oil in my hair. It has great absorption and isn't as greasy on your hands etc. But, Latoya's right too. Olive oil is definitely high in fatty acids and will do wonders for your hair if you need a deep treatment. Just warm it up and you have yourself a hot oil treatment! (make sure it's not too hot though) Apply to your hair, wrap it for 30 mins and wash out. I leave mine in overnight, and it's really worked!

I've used the grapeseed in my hair 3x now and it has worked wonders on my hair. husband says my hair looks fuller and he can run his hands through my hair with it tangling at the ends...because it smoothed out my split ends as well. I love it!
