i just got a new light for my vanity area where i have all my makeup and where i do all my beauty related videos . i'm loving the light , it's an ottlite , and has great clarity and shows colors ,true to color. what are your lighting techniques and lights you use ?

i film by my window to get natural lighting. if its dark out i just use a lamp thats really bright but i dont prefer it. my channel is http://www.youtube.com/jaclynsmyname

i film by the window as well, but during these winter months , there's been a 3 or 4 hour window, where the sun is perfect and if i can't do videos at that time, then i pretty much can't do any, so i decided to finally go out and get a good lighting, for when it's night or when the sun isn't at a good place

Use daytime bulbs in your lamps!! This makes it seem like u r filming during the day!! I usually only film at night and it makes all the difference!
