I've always been afraid to wear red lipstick even though I have pretty white teeth -- for fear that it will make my teeth look less white. Just a personal anxiety. Does anyone else feel the same way? Or do you not care? What are your thoughts on red lipstick? I'd love to know!

sometimes I don't really care, other times I notice and am like "omg..."
I wear it anyway, the bluer the red the whiter your teeth look(I think anyway). If you're afraid of making your teeth look more yellow or anything i'd steer clear of orange based reds

If you worry that your teeth aren't white enough to pull of a red lippie but still want to try a red lip for a night/day out, try a blue based lipstick like Chanel's Dragon Rouge Allure Laque or Kat Von D's Adora. Blue based red lipsticks reduces the appearance of a less than white teeth. It's the best beauty trick you'll ever learn! Also, stay away from yellow based red lipsticks because the yellow base in them will accentuate any teeth discolouration. :)

Hmm I've never really thought of this but I don't think it would stop me. White teeth are only a half hr away with some crest white strips, I love those things.. probably more than I should.. lol
I really like Ruby and Cherry by NYX Black Label

definitely!! it will actually make your teeth appear whiter and if you apply a red with a blue undertone like MAC's Russian red or Makeup Forever rouge artist #8 I believe the blue will tone down any unwanted yellow!! making your teeth look white!!

haha this is a funny topic! I love everyone's answers, i agree! I would walk around with red, fushia, plum, or even black without even noticing if my teeth are yellow. Im a stickler for white teeth so im always putting something on them, so i think im ok; but either way i couldnt live without red lipstick!!!!!
