i want to do a makeup look for spring because where i live its spring, but i want it to use a pop of colour. not overly bright like a rainbow, but just to add a bit of colour rather than neutrals all the time. i also have brown eyes if that helps :P

I would say blue, green or purple. I have brown eyes as well and those are usually bring out my eye color the best
. You should check out Zoffen's video she did just a pop of color in the inner corner and I thought it looked great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lc0M0ME-XjM&feature=channel_video_title
I have tried this various times and I love it! Its super simple and it's really eye catching without being a rainbow like you said. Blue is my favorite for this, a lime green, and a bright yellow works great. Purple not so much it can be unflattering on the inner corner, but it depends on the shade. For the most part bright shimmery blues, yellows, and lime greens look great on the inner corner. You can always leave out the bright lips if you don't feel comfortable with them. :)

i have brown eyes as well. i would say you could use a light pink or a light purple shadow on your lid and then do a neutral crease. i do that often and it just looks eye brightening rather than wearing a color. also, try lining your lower lash line with a colored eyeliner :)

Great tips! I wanted to try out orange lips, I am trying to climb out of my comfort zone lately, so I bought Revlon 24k Orange. I got home with it and then went....'oooook, now what do I wear with it??' lol I started playing around and came up with this: I did a really neutral eye with The Wet N Wild Greed palette-then I smudged and smoked out my lower lash line. I am in love with this look now!
For a pop of color, I smudge a bright color like MAC Shimmermoss or Electric Eel instead of using black. I wear glasses, and this is the perfect way to have some color peek through them. Love!
I also loved the makeup in Lil Wayne's video....oh man, haha, what's the name? Ugh....6 foot 7! That's it. The girls all had neutral eyes with a bright/glittery pop of color in the corner-but only on the bottom. About 1/4 to 1/3 of the way in. I have done that, too. Both look great.

Vanessa,
I just did a video with the second way I was telling you about. I did it with blue, but any color works. It's the main video on my channel.

I know everyone else has suggested these, but I would recommend green, purple, or a more yellow toned gold. It all depends on what you like and what the highlights in your eyes pick up. But I find on clients I've worked with that tends to bring out brown eyes the best.
