hmm well from the naked palette (because it's so popular), i love toasted on the lid, naked in the crease and half baked on the inner corner/lower lash line
but for everyday, i usually do a dusty purple lid, light brown in the crease and a light color on my inner corner

Plums, browns, blacks and neutrals. My fav. combo from my MAC palette is:
Fig 1., Sketch, Typographic/Handwritten [crease]
Texture [transition between crease and highlight]
Shroom/Ricepaper/Blanc Type [any of these for highlight or lid]

Lately, I've been keeping eyes pretty basic and neutral.
I love the Wet & Wild Vanity palette. I tend to use the mattes pretty regularly.
Generally, I tend to have a satin/subtle shimmer shade on my lid that's pretty close to my skin tone (Arena or Tan). Then I put something a bit darker in the crease, either brown or purple (Saddle, Handwritten, Sketch, Haux). Transition out the crease with face powder and a subtle cream highlight (Blanc Type).

I think any colors can look good together as long as you use the right technique. But personally I think gold and brown look fantastic together! I also love pink and purple. :) Black and white... yellow and green...pale pinky-peach and mauve... THERE ARE SO MANY!!!! lol It just depends on where you put them, and how well you blend them... And whether the shades compliment eachother. I don't give an owl's hoot about the brand, as long as it's good quality. I feel like MAC has a lot of hype, where you can get drugstore makeup that is the same quality. Not to mention drugstore makeup has more selection than mac. Although I do love MAC's Russian Red. But that's like, the only thing that I really spend money on from them.

Either Brown colors with Golds... or Grey colors with black. I just got the first Naked palette and I love how it has all the gold & brown eye shadows in it!

I absolutely LOVE and get compliments when I layer silvers with golds. I start off with a dark gunmetal silver against my lashes, then scissor-layer up with dark gold, then metallic silver, then yellow-gold, and finally highlight with a silvery white. It looks so bomb.

Another really pretty combo that's always stunning is a deep matte plum purple with a satin finished sunset orange. Of course you would want to incorporate some variation of color in there, so a pinkish color always does the trick nicely

I've always had this thing with purple and green. I KNOW BARNEY COLORS, but still. I think they're beautiful together.

I agree with Minjee, except I usually go with a teal for my green. It ties in beautifully if you accent it with dark gunmetal silver.

golden olive pigment on the lid, cork in the crease, mylar as a brow bone highlight, and shroom in the tear duct area with brown eyeliner. super fierce for everyday. i also love stars n' rockets with #92 and dramatic winged liner. aaaand beautiful iris, parfait amour, and electric eel. super pretty together.

I love the plain gold with brown, or the shimmery nude with brown. However one of my favorite color combinations in vivid teal/turquoise with brown as a crease color! Those two colors look great together.
