Next in the series are contour brushes. These brushes are very versatile, you can use them for applying foundation, blush, bronzer, highlighter and concealer. These brushes can handle different mediums as well, such as powder, cream, liquid and gel. They are good brushes for applying products that you want to blend out to create shape or shadows on your face.
Application Tips:
- smaller brushes are good for creating a smaller, precise shape like on the temples, on the sides of the nose and in the sockets of the eye (orbital bone)
- larger brushes are good for a larger, softer shape like under the cheek bone, along the hair line and along or under the jaw bone
- shorter bristles provide a precise and full application of product and a sharp effect
- longer bristles provide a more liberal and sheerer application of product and a softer effect
