Hi everyone!
Just asking today whether any of you have any recommendations on Toners.
I hear more and more these days that the toner stage is kind of dropping out of the daily routine...what are your thoughts?
I do use a toner but only Cucumber based from Boots. I think it's made a difference to my skin but are there ones out there that people can say that they DO truely benefit from?
If so I'd love to hear about it!
All the bestest!

I'm old school. I stick with Clinique. I started using it around 11 (my mom started me on a good skin-care regime) and I can honestly say I never had any break outs through puberty... only after I had my son at 24. I swear by it.

I use Witch hazel! Works for my oily skin, but the smell is something a LOT of people cannot get used to.

I tried clinique but for the price it wasnt that wonderful. i use Neutrogenas stress toner, they changed the labels but i have been using it for over a decade!
Witch hazel i have used too but like vivian said the smell is hard to get use too and it doesnt give the "tightening" feeling i like, because then i add my lotion and know where needs more or less!

I use witch hazel, ACV or Vitamin E toner from the Body shop when I'm dry.
I always use a toner because I have huge pores.

Thanks ladies :D witch hazel seems to be a popular one!
@louise I have problem pores too! *sob* do you use anything particular to manage them?

The only thing that is worked for me so far is to use steam to open my pores at night and make sure I really clean them well. They are less noticeable but I've yet to find something to make a dent in them. (without doing that)
Edit: I've also used those pore strips (the green ones - t-zone maybe?) and they work but I tend to break out after using them unfortunately.
Thankfully it's only my nose that I have the problem on, the other parts of my face are totally manageable!

Mine aren't huge but are definitely there and I have them on my nose and about 2 patches either side of my nose on my inner cheeks and its just...a bit sad really hehe..I've just started using estee ladders Idealist serum in the day and night repair serum at *urm* night...I'm only on my second day but apparently they're a great duo...let's hope its not just hype, Eep. Thanks so much again!

I don't use a toner. They've always irritated me or made me break out. Maybe I should try out other ones at some point but for now I just cleanse then moisturize.
