Do you have dry, oily, or combination skin? Any favorite products???

I have normal skin, with dryness during the winter, depending on the weather. I absolutely LOVE Angels on Bareskin and Celestial by Lush. Angels is a cleanser and Celestial is a moisturizer, both of which smell amazing, by the way.

Clara, CeraVe can be found at Drug Stores like CVS, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. It's a BIG plus because it contains Ceramide which is like a skin restoring ingredient that a lot of department store brands have. But charge like 2-3-4x the price of CeraVe. (I got this recommendation by another user Soma S.)

I do hear good reviews on Aveeno and Cetaphil too, which are also drug store brands.

Just remember, most people say, it takes about 28 days for your skin to get used to a product... so try to stick with it. Good luck, trying to find a good skin care routine can get fraustrating... I should know, I've tried it all (to help heal my acne-prone skin).

Oooo Nice!! Yea I never heard of Cerave maybe I can try it in the near future ;) but seriously Mario Badescu drying lotion will reduce the size of pimples for sure! I tried this Neutrogena one but it was totally a waste for me

I also use CeraVe's PM moisturizer [I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff!] and during the winter, I use their thick moisturizing cream. I use Cetaphil for the time being, until I run out and replace it w/ CeraVe's face wash as well.

I've used many high-end face washes and drug store versions, and CeraVe's blows many of them out of the water. The PM lotion leaves my skin glowing when I wake up in the morning w/ soft and supple skin. You can find reviews of it on here or MUA to see the cult following it has - it's also a makeup artist's secret on www.inmykit.com

I used to use Clinique, Lancome, Philosphy, Estee Lauder, Neutrogena, Clearasil, Clean and Clear, Biore, the oil cleansing method, St. Ives Apricot scrub, Oil of Olay's daily glycolic thermal wash, Shiesheido, the list goes on and on... but I trust the products listed on www.inmykit.com w/ my life. Give it a go - they have alternatives for high-end to more cost effective products. I'm so glad CeraVe was so affordable, and it really kicks the daylights out of Clinique's moisture surge ANY day.

I have oily/combo skin, but I'm learning over time that I might have a bit of sensitive skin too... since the sensitive skin products seem to be working more successfully on me... results are slower, but much more positive and consistent than using harsh stripping cleansers. I'm almost sad to say it took me YEARS to realize I was my own worst enemy w/ stripping my skin thinking it was normal/OILY.

I have very oily skin. I use the Clinique 3 step line for oily skin. I found that it does ake my skin alot less oily. There have been times that i dont use it and it doesnt cause me to break out but if i dont use it for over i week i do break out. And about one or twice a week i use the St.Ives apricot scrub. If i have a break out or dry spot i usually dab a bit of 100% australian tea tree oil

i have normal skin, so for face wash, i just use a pore cleansing scrub to clean my face, and i actually use ponds cream as my moisturizer, which is quite rich. my friend said she tried it and it was too rich for her skin so i scored a free jar :)

I dry/combination skin and I wash my face twice a day with a beauty soap called Castille and once every week I'll exfoliate with St.Ive's Apricot Scrub. And everytime I go out I always put on a Lubriderm moisturizer with SPF 15

I have oily, acne prone skin and I don't even use a lot of products to keep my skin nice. I use the Neutrogena Naturals Purifying pore scrub in the morning and at night, and I also like to switch it up with my Philosophy Purity face wash which I use in the shower to really deep clean my skin and remove my makeup...then I also use LUSH face masks, and an acne cream prescribed by my doctor as well as the Garnier nutritioniste moisture rescue gel-cream :)

I have combination skin thats sensitive and acne prone lol
I use the pink grapefruit cleanser from neutrogena, and an aveeno daily face scrub as well as the wild lime exfoliator from the nuance line. I was using the clinique dramatically different cream.. but I didn't like how my skin reacted to it after a while so i switched to olay for sensitive skin as my moisturizer and I had 2 drops of josie maran's argan oil.

My regime changes all the time as different seasons call for different products, as well as I just get bored with what I use and purchase different things. Right now since I am on Differin to clear up acne and acne scarring, I am pretty much back to basics though.

Day: Clinique Exfoliating Scrub,Clinique Liquid Soap Level 2, Boots Protect and Perfect Serum, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.

Night: I use Lumene Makeup Removing Wipes/Origins Clean Energy Cleansing Oil, Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap/Origins Never A Dull Moment , Differin, and no moisturizer since I can't use a moisturizer at night with the differin. When I did use one I used Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream with Origins Modern Fusion Serum. I do use Youthtopia eye cream though!
