I am wondering how their brushes are. I am wanting really good quality brushes but yet cheap. I have heard some reviews but the one thing I absolutely hate is when brushes shed a lot! So if anyone could help me out that would be great also I am interested in trying some of the studio line makeup! Let me know!! :) thanks

The Studio brushes are hit/miss - some might be fantastic while a few can fall apart. I prefer the essential line for eye brushes and the mineral line for face brushes.
The studio makeup line is great - pigmented shadows, blendable mineral products, and their powders are fantastic!

i ordered some brushes from ELF Studio not too long ago just so i have some extra ones in case. . i really like them. They're not your high quality MAC or Stila etc brushes, but for the price they're really good, and i highly recommend if your looking for decent $3 brushes. .
The studio kabuki is super soft and applies product really nicely. .
the stipple brush as well is really soft and is amazing with foundation and/or bronzer etc. .
the actual eyeshadow brush is okay. .not my best pick but its an ok simple eyeshadow applying brush. .
another good one is the angled contour eyeshadow brush, really fluffy and soft. . good for blending. .
i hope this helps, its a pretty good investment for decent brushes for the price.

I agree they are hit or miss. I have all of them from the Studio line. But use them sparingly. Check out Sigma, Sedona Lace or Crown Brush...if you don't want a whole set, just buy the one you think you'll use the most. They are great quality but definitely not as pricey as MAC.

I love E.L.F. Studio brushes! The only problem I've had with the Studio line, so far, is the handle can come loose over time. I only had this happen to one brush, and after a little glue, it has been fine ever since. I haven't had any shedding or bleeding with E.L.F. Studio brushes and you just can't beat the price! I actually prefer the Powder Brush to Sigma's F80! They are all so super soft :)

I've gotten to used to pricy brushes, but the elf studio line is great for the money. They are hit and miss as everyone says, as with most less expensive brands. I got the set on sale and even though I don't use all the brushes for the price it was worth it.

I have the 11 piece collection from studio line, and I have mixed feelings about it. Like said above, some fall apart very easily, whilst some of the others are ok. I'm not fond of either of the studio brushes, but that might just be me. I have a thing for natural hair brushes.

I'm not a huge fan of brush sets because there are always those brushes you don't like or hardly ever use. In this case, I think the value is great.. and if you can get it on sale, even better.
I love the powder brush & the angle brush.. they get the most use. But I also use the blush, concealer & shader brushes regularly.
Are they super high quality? No.. but they get the job done, often times better than their low-mid range counter-parts in my opinion.

The powder brush is my favorite! I use it to buff in liquid and powder.

These were my first set of makeup brushes (I got the 11-piece collection) and like other people have said they are fairly hit and miss. I never had a problem with any of them shedding however my blush brush starting coming apart at the ferrule fairly quickly. My studio powder brush is only just now starting to come apart and I've had these for over a year. They are nice brushes for the price and I think they're great for someone just starting out however if you're looking for something with longevity I would look elsewhere.
