Being fairly new to make up (yes ive been anti-make up for 20 years but recently converted lol) I want to ask, which m.a.c foundation is the best? What do you think about them?

It really depends on your skin type. I have dry skin so I find the mineralize foundation is good for me, but is not good for those who do not have dry skin. I would figure out your skin type and then ask someone who works at a mac store or counter.

Jamie d.-Oh thanks for the advice. I still was going to ask someone at the mac counter, but just wanted to know what everyones personal experience with the foundations were before I splurge on it :)

for someone that is new to makeup, i would start off with something a little lighter. maybe try the MAC tinted mositurizer..? its light, moisturizes your face, and gives you some color to even out your skin. you can also dust a little of their mineralize skin finish to give you a very natural look. but if you do decide to go with a heavier foundation for a fuller coverage, the pro long foundation is a very nice foundation. it applies very smoothly and evenly and last all day. i hope this help :)

I think all of MAC's foundations are pretty nice for their intended skin type and the MSF natural is AMAZING!!!

Right now I'm using Studio Fix Fluid with SPF 15 and it lasts for a pretty good length of time.

Being fairly new, I suggest you get samples from MAC. Not only that go to Sephora and get samples of foundations there. Some girls, start off with MAC, but then find their "holy grail" foundation from a different brand.
