I am looking to get one of these palettes, I am wondeirng if anyone has both or just one and could tell me what they like or dislike about them. They are around the same price so thats why I cant decide!

Hey Casey, I have the Z- Palette and I honestly chose to get this one over the UNI for a few reasons : 1. I love the fact that the lid is see through, making it so much easier to know which palette I want to use as I can see everything that is in it at just a quick glance. 2. The size, it holds way more eyeshadows than the UNII one. 3. The cute patterns/colors (zebra, leopard, pink, black) 4. Its about $4-5 cheaper :) These are just a few reasons that I chose to use the Z Palette over the UNII, they are in fact both great products though and I'm sure you would be happy with whichever one!

yeah its a tough choice though because while it is $4-5 cheaper it doesnt come with the magnet strips like the unii one, but it is also bigger. But the Z palette is made out of cardboard while the Unii is plastic so it would stand a little more beating. Good thing I have like 2 months to decide since I want this for my birthday!

I have the UNII palette, but I do like the idea of a clear lid to view my products. I hear MAC was going to update their large e/s palettes to look like their quads w/ the clear lid, but it's been a while since I first heard that rumor, and have yet to see anything yet.
The UNII palette is sturdy though - my only complaint is the size. I like that it has a magnetic thumb grip. It can be a kitschy deal maker/breaker - depending on how ergonomics determine your purchases. I also like the fact it does have a mirror in it. UNII palettes are the on-the-go daily use type of devices, and Z-Palettes are more like storage, not as often used or traveled with.

I have a few z palettes and the are crazy durable! My bf and I play guitar and he accidently put his amp, which is at LEAST 50 lbs, on top of my z palette and it was fine when I got it out from under it.

TKB has a min order of like 15 dollars or something, but they have some phenomenal pigments too. It is made of the same cardboard material with a magnetic base. Smaller, but still a good purchase.

i have the z palette and i would choose that one over any other palette. it's so sturdy and i can take it anywhere with me. it holds so many shadows and blush too. im actually thinking about getting another one really soon.
