Whenever i use a foundation brush to do my foundation it goes like liney and i just end up rubbing it in with my fingers, is there a trick to get it looking good with a foundation brush? I was going to get a stiplling brush but they dont sell them in boots or superdrug and i dont have enough money to go to mac or anything;(

Someone was just asking this yesterday so I'll just copy and paste:
I used my fingers or (damp)sponges to apply my liquid foundation. I've tried stippling but still requires a sponge to blend/airbrush, it was too much effort imo.
You might want to check out this video using Sigma F80

Raeview also used the same F80 Flat Top Kabuki to buff in her liquid foundation. I've ordered mine, along with F82 for setting powder. Can't wait to try them out.
And I spritz on MAC Fix+ before foundation so they can go on better.

I was using the Mac 187 brush to apply liquid foundation but lately I've been using my fingers. I feel like it blends better and is easier. I do want to try the beauty blender sponge...has anyone tried that?

Traditional foundation brushes take a bit of practice to nail down the technique.
If I'm using one, I spritz it lightly with water (and I do mean lightly, you don't want it saturated) and build in layers with light pressure and alternating directions. Too much pressure with too much product will cause the streaking.
I prefer flat top kabuki style brushes myself, and a very affordable option is the ELF Studio powder brush. But the buffing motion can disturb flaky skin, so be aware.
Good luck. :]
