I just got partial highlights after no coloring for over 5 years. Any suggestions on products to maintain/boost color? Also, I work out (and therefore have to wash my hair) at least once a day, sometimes twice. Will this dull the color faster? Any product suggestions or tips would be GREATLY appreciated!

Try using a sulfate-free shampoo. They don't contain harsh sulfates so you won't get much of a lather, but it helps to prevent fading. It would be a good option for you since you need to wash your hair more frequently. Lots of different brands are now offering sulfate free shampoos so I'd go to Ulta and browse the shelfs. Also, if you dyed your hair blonde you might want to look into getting one of those purple based shampoos to use every few washes to prevent your highlights from turning brassy. When I used to dye my hair I would use the John Frieda Color Renew Tone Correcting shampoo.

Rachel T. If your having trouble with your hair being to dry wash your hair but with out any product just warm water that'll just wash all the gross stuff out then right when you get out I suggest you put a leave in hair product. Then for your hair dulling problem you need to do these things.( you need 2 eggs,1 teaspoon of sea salt, lemon juice, an olive oil that should help stop it from dulling and help your hair grow if you'd like to make it grow leave it in for 5 hours if you just want to stop the dulling then leave it in for 3 hours, well I hope this helped follow me 😇
