In your cosmetics/skin care products? If so check regularly, do you research to find out what they are/do?

I tend to glance over them when I'm deciding which products to buy. If I've been researching & finding that certain ingredients cause irritation or clog pores and such, I'll scan for those & try to find a product that fits my needs without them.
The same for preservatives like methylparaben and propylparaben. I like finding products without them, but it's not like I refuse to buy anything with them in it either.
The way I see it is this: Natural products and more environmentally friendly products are great, but we're all dying and too much of ANYTHING is bad for us. So I'm also not going to let preservatives scare me away from a product. If I like something & it performs well, I'll use it wether it's natural & eco friendly or cheap & preservative filled.

I have way too much faith in brands and while I research my brands and make sure I am using an animal friendly brand with good ingredients - I don't necessarily check each individual product.
Although in saying that, I always check my ingredients in my skincare products so it makes sense that I would in make-up but I haven't gotten that obsessive yet.
I need to do more research on different ingredients in make-up. I don't really know much apart from the basics.

I do and I don't. I check the ingredients in new products that I've never used but don't on products I'm already use to using.

The past few months, I've definitely become more aware of ingredients! My rule of thumb....the fewer the better! :)

I'm pretty religious about checking ingredients these days. I agree with Victoria, the fewer the ingredients the better. That being said, it is hard to find some products without "yucky" ingredients. All my skin care items are all natural - I am now working on finding/creating the same in make-up that performs well.
