I recently bought a 100-piece eyeshadow set that was on clearance really cheap. I knew the colors wouldn't be very vibrant, but I was hoping for the best.
What is the best trick/product that I can add to my eyeshadow to make it appear more vibrant and pigmented?
Thanks!

A simple trick I do is using a soft white eyeliner pencil as a base for my shadow. It helps it stand out a lot more. After you do that, you could put a light, shimmery shadow on top to make it look less dull. Hope this helps!

use some sort of mist & damp your brush. This will give you an opaque as you layer the shadow on. hope this helps xoxo

If you do dampen your brush, though, dip it in the side of the eyeshadow because it will make it crusty and difficult if you get it wet. Eye shadow primer is a good investment to make that will definitely make your eyeshadows more vibrant! Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance are two really good ones. Also, you can use a base, white or the color of the shade you're using, this can be a cream eyeshadow or a NYX pencil or a colored eyeliner and that will help alot too :) hope thiis helps!!

I use an eyeshadow base from NARS or dampen my brushes just as Dejeri suggested. xoxo

I'd invest on a good eye shadow primer the jumbo nyx pencils are good and have a variety of colors the white one (milk) is good to bring out the brightness of the colors i personally use the nxy jumbos and my mac paint pot in soft oker good luck

Also using a good shading brush is key! The stiffer, the better. If you have a flimsy shader, it will be less effective at packing color on than a stiff shader.

Apply the colour when the primer is still a little wet/tacky. A mixing medium is also a good idea. For cheaper e.s i like to loosen up a little bit of the powder first then dip the brush (dampened with the mm.) In the little bits.

You can buy an eyeliner palette activator for eye shadow and it makes it really bright.

Use an eyeshadow primer and a cream base. Cream eyeshadows are great bases to make the color pop. I highly recommend either MAC paint pots (people love Painterly because it is corrective for most skin tones and all paint pots are very long wearing). Also Maybelline color tattoo eyeshadow, they really do last!! NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils and Revlon Illumaninance Cream palettes
