Is there something small and compact (besides powder) that will help my makeup stay fresh looking all day?

I agree! The Urban Decay all nighter is amazing-- I wore it on halloween out in hot Florida humidity and grossness and my makeup stayed fresh and gorgeouss the whole night. Deffffinitely reccomend!

Yep - have to say you can totally tell a difference after I've been out all day if I forget to put on my Urban Decay all nighter!

A good primer is key! Then a great setting powder (I loooove mac's prime & prime) and a good blot powder. Use something translucent, using colored powder just makes you look cakey.

Primers! If you apply a primer before your products, they will help to keep your makeup looking fresh all day. Setting sprays are fabulous too (Model in a Bottle, Fix + & Urban Decay)!

I'm not going to lie, I only use a NYX jumbo pencil - no primer potion or anything because mine ran out, and it works perfect!

Applying toner on my t-zone and a good matifying primer like UD's or Tarte 's primer and a translucent setting powder. Also blotting my face with oil blotting sheets.

If you're going to use a powder to get rid of shine I definitely suggest a loose one because pressed powder will make you look cakey. But I don't use powder to retouch. I use the Makeup Forever Mist & Fix right after I do my makeup to make it last and the Evian mineral water to freshen my face during the day. If I get oily at all I use the blotting papers from Sephora. Or if you don't have any and are in a bind, toilet paper covers work :)
