I bought and used the LASplash glitter glue. I had a serious allergic reaction to it. My eyes are red and crazy swollen. Does anyone know anything I can use with my glitter pigments to make it stay put?

Here are some "adhesives" you can try.
Hard Candy's Show Girl's Secret - Glitter Adhesive (sold only through Walmart.com and at Walmart.)
http://www.hardcandy.com/products.php?cat=9#494
I think it's either $5 or $6 but off hand I can't recall the price.
Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy
http://www.fyrinnae.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=412
You can order a sample of the product for $1.50.
I have both items and love Fyrinnae's over Hard Candy.

Let me do some investigating on the ingredients before you do buy either product. If you had a reaction to the LASplash glitter glue there is the high possibility you'll be allergic to the other two if they contain the same ingredients.
Edit...
Okay, so went to look for the LA Splash glitter glue and couldn't find it so I'm guessing the product is their Splash Proof Sealer/Base™. These are the ingredients in that product:
Water, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthan Gum, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Simethicone, PEG 75 Lanolin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Triethyl Citrate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Quaternium-90 Bentonite, V/P Eicosene Copolymer, Shellac. May Contain: Mica, Iron Oxides
The Hard Candy Show Girl's Secret contains:
Water, Alcohol, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben
Pixie Epoxy contains:
Glycerin (vegetable derived), Purified Water (Aqua), Acrylamide/Ammonium acrylate copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Polyisobutene, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Silica, Polysorbate 20, Carbomer, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Potassium Sorbate.
So in Hard Candy's glitter glue the four ingredients (excluding water since that's in all products) that is shared with LA Splash's sealer/base are:
Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben & Propylparaben.
There are only two ingredients in Pixie Epoxy that are in LA Splash's sealer/base and those are:
Propylene Glycol & Polysorbate 20
Now I noticed that in LA Splash there is Diazolidinyl Urea while in Hard Candy there is Imidazolidinyl Urea. Now from what I read about both items, they're chemically related and used in cosmetics in the same manner as an antimicrobial preservative and a formaldehyde releaser and BOTH products can cause allergic reactions.
http://www.dermnetnz.org/dermatitis/imidazolidinylurea-allergy.html
So, it's very possible that you maybe suffering from a reaction to that item. Check your other products for either of those ingredients. If it's present in other products you've used with no problems then it's probably not that item you're allergic to.
I would say go with Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy since you can get a sample for $1.50 and with shipping it's still less than $3.50. Better to go with a sample you can try and toss if you're allergic to the Propylene Glycol or Polysorbate 20 than waste $5 on a larger product if you end up being allergic to it.
Hope that helps! Good luck!

you can use clear lipgloss just put a bit where you want the glitter to stick, and pat the glitter on to the gloss. this is a cheap and simple way, and you probably already have a clear lipgloss that isnt going to make you have an allergic reaction. :D

That's true about clear lip gloss but the downside is it won't last as long and creases.
Another idea is to use a cream base such as a cream body/eyeshadow stick. Lots of companies make cream sticks in a wide range of colors and are dirt cheap as well. Wet 'n' Wild's cream sticks are around $2, Hard Candy has a few for $8 even Cover Girl has cream eyeshadow sticks.
I think there's an article about Katy Perry's makeup look at the Grammy's last night and how the makeup artist said she used Cover Girl as a base before applying MUFE glitter over it. Yup, found the article:

"Cream shadows are great adhesive for glitter, which was perfect for applying Makeup For Ever Glitter on the lid by tapping it with my finger."

Thanks for ALL of your info Yasmin. You went above and beyond. I read the article this morning about Katy Perry's makeup (b/c she looked so good). I was thinking about cream shadows already but I still wanted something for my other makeup. And Christine... I used to use clear gloss, but it does crease very easily and it didnt work as well. I had glitter all over the place by the end of the night.

Re: Mixing medium.
The mixing medium is a PRO product so you're not going to be able to buy it online at maccosmetics.com and might not be able to find it in a MAC store. If you have a PRO card then no problem but if not.... Koren has a video up on his YouTube channel where he shows how to make his own mixing medium.
