i recently brought "Dont Go to the Makeup Counter without me" Great book b/c it goes over all the makeup brands from drugstore to highend. It basically helps you with whats worth the money and whats not. It is based off someones opinion but it helps...And for the most part it has been pretty on point for me.

I really love Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin. There are a lot of tips and tricks. He also shows a lot of before and after photos. My favorite part of the book is where they have celebrities transformed into famous beauty icons.:)
