Ulta sells a brush for you eye lashes and eye brows! I think they work great. They are cheap and are portable I recommend them to anyone with clumpy mascara! You'll love it

For volume start the brush by the base of the lash and wiggle it up, this prevents clumps and gets all the lashes.

Real Techniques has a great eyelash/brow comb. Apply the mascara then brush though your lashes, apply again if desired. Works great!

When my mascara starts to clump, its usually because it's getting dry, and I put a few drops of saline solution in the tube, mix it up with the wand then it goes on really smoothly! I saw this fix on Pinterest and it worked for me!

Make sure you are wiggling the mascara wand from root to tip and you are never bringing the wand straight out. The bristles need to be able to brush through the lashes and by rocking the wand at the base and then flicking out to the tips will optimize separation and prevent clumping! Try that!

When you put the wand into the tube, twirl it instead of pulling it in and out when getting more mascara. This helps with clumping!
