So i just had a baby recently And i have not to dark but noticeable stretch marks. I tried bio-oil and coco butter. And nothing is really working. I tried bio -oil for 3 months and can't notice a change. Is there any advice or tricks to get them to be not noticeable.

Thanks Very much,
Rosie

Have you looked into the strivectin existing stretch mark cream. Its a little pricey but works quite well if you keep on it the way the instructions say.

There is a cream called Trilastin, it's pricey though. There are tons of reviews and before & afters on the internet xox.

You can waste your money on fancy creams if you want, but from the TONS of research I have done, nothing will ever make them fade completely, if at all. Sorry to burst your bubble... BUT... Hopefully, over time, they will fade like mine did (mine were RED after my first son, now they are white, barely noticeable from a distance any more...

The only advice i can give... Welcome to the ranks of motherhood, you have now earned your pregnancy service stripes. Be proud of them! You worked hard for them, and you have a beautiful baby to prove it :-)

I agree with Lizz N.! The only thing that truly helps is time! I used bag balm and a healthy diet to nurish my skin. It is almost like a wound! It just needs to heal. Just give it everything it needs to do that. Remember ladies our skin is a living organ not a suit! Don't waste ur money!

I think you can only prevent stretch marks if you are prone to have them (there are lucky ladies that don't), but if you already have them, you can fade them out a little bit, but only if they're still red. Once they're white there's no turning back, the only choice left is laser removal.
When I started gaining weight I noticed stretch marks on my hips and immediately started to use almond oil and vaseline at nights, and during the day I used Mederma, but I didn't like it so I start using coco butter as well. They're less noticeable now and quite a lot smaller, but they're still red, but not as before that look almost purple, and it has been about two years since they appeared.
You have to be super consistent with you skin to keep it moisturized so that it can recovers elasticity. It's going to take a lot of time, even with the specialized creams that are super expensive, but that's how it is. Hope this helps.

That's what I heard too, you can only try to prevent them, but once you have them it's hard to get rid of.

My first stretch marks were on my thigh area back in 6-7 grade. I was tripping out, I think it's because I may have had a growth spurt?

Anyway years and two kids later, my once flat stomach is now pudgy and full of them (I had my second son almost 3 years ago, and people still ask "when I'm due?" or "am I pregnant?").

It can be a little depressing especially if this is your first time having them due to being pregnant. But it does help to know, you're not the only one... and like everyone else had said, it does fade in time. =)

Please do NOT waste your money on Strivectin. It is basically a foot cream and it only costs like $7 to make the junk. I know this bc I use to work for the company that made it. The product is garbage :(

I'm so self conscious about my stretch marks I got mine probably like... 7th grade and I'm now a senior in high school and I never got to wear cute skirts or shorts in school because I felt people would make fun of me... This year was my first year I wore a bikini showing everyone my stretch marks. I have them on my inner thighs and they are white now!
