Hey everyone!
I have $400 at the moment, and I really want to splurge on a shopping spree. I was wondering...how would you guys spend it?
Between MAC, Sephora and clothing how would you distribute the money?
I'm very into clothes and I am in desperate need of hitting H&M, but also as a budding makeup collector, I want to add more to my collection.
So...how would you do it?
Thanks in advance!

I would probably take about $150 and spend at H&M the rest for me would be between Bath and Body works (love smell goods) definitely a trip to Aldo and maybe MAC products :^)

$150 at H&M sounds like a great amount. The rest could be split between MAC & other companies you've been wanting to try. :D Happy shopping!

Ahh! I am still upset that H&M doesn't have a shop online feature! D:
Great suggestions! There are just so many places I want to go to, and 400 dollars is a lot, but it's so hard to cater to every place where I desperately "need" to go! There are dozens of things from Sephora, Forever 21, H&M, MAC, Bath and Body Works...just to name a few!
Thanks for the advice!

I think an evenly distribution is the key. I would decaited at $100 to MAC or whatever favorite brand of makeup; another $100 to clothes; another $100 on shoes/purse/acceories and finally spend the $100 on something you would never thought about buying.

I say go online and get a good idea of what stuff you're gonna want to buy. I always do this. Then group them and add it all up and do it that way. If not, I say do 200 on makeup and 200 on clothes and such. 200 is a good amount. You'll get a very good amount of both :)

Hmmm! Rosa that is good idea! Andrea you and Rosa are pretty similar! Thank you for the advice! I know I want to get some makeup, but nothing at Sephora is on sale at the moment. I feel like my makeup collection is pretty decent, but I still want more. Haha, I think you guys know what I'm saying.
Thanks for the tips ladies!

Indulge in a high-quality brush set. Makeup runs out or gets old... brushes can last you a decade if you take care of them right, and they go on your face daily! THAT'S an investment! =D

I would do some research first, so the money doesn't go so fast. I always have large sums of money that seem to disappear when I don't so proper research. First look at your clothing and makeup collection and look at what is missing or what you would love to add!
Make a list of staple items you need and seasonal or trendy items you would also like. You may need a good pair of dark wash jeans or black pumps and a good red lipstick as staples in your collection-splurge on those. You may also want a dark berry lipstick or leather leggings as a seasonal or trend piece, which will probably not last, so I would not go overboard on spending for items like those... but I would definitely buy them!
Just make sure you don't buy anything you don't want, don't need, or already have and your money will be well spent! So its less about a number of distribution, but more about rounding out your collections!

Make a list of things you need from your face stores and estimate the cost for everything. This way you can buy a little bit if everything 👢👠👡👗💄👙💃🙌

As much as I would LOVE to spend it all on makeup, I'm in need of new clothes like crazy bad right now. I've outgrown my old style so I need to pretty much redo my whole closet. I'm not a clothing girl though. I like to look nice but have simple tastes and go for comfortable, affordable clothes. I have trouble finding simple things sometimes though. And finding the type of jeans I like is difficult too. After I was done buying some clothes and makeup I would put some aside for other, less fun things like student loan payments, etc. I would also get a Clarisonic.

Maybe 300 in clothes and 100 in makeup.
