I use those rings that come with pony tail holders, slip them all on the ring and hang them from a command hook

My suggestion is to make your own hanger. Go to the hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot (also sold at Target & Walmart I think) and buy two wood curtain brackets - that way you can paint it to your styles - and buy a large wood rod or dowel (size ranges from very thin up to three inches thick).
http://www.lowes.com/pd_275050-28542-275050_4294800140_4294937087_?productId=3029831 uses 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" rods.
You can use a metal curtain brackets with a metal rod - http://www.lowes.com/pd_275071-28542-275071_4294800140_4294937087_?productId=3029850
I would suggest to get the small rods - metal or wood - to what length you want and attach to the wall in your bedroom or bathroom. You can then add your bangles to it and sort by color or style or how you want. You can add several smaller rows or use several brackets and have one large rod. I like the idea of using several smaller rods because you can then keep one rod for one color, another for a different one, etc, etc.
