I don't know what to do and I'm hoping you guys can help me make an informed decision...
I have never been to IMATS and I thought that come April I might go to NY to attend IMATS but now I don't know what to do because I would also like to attend the O2B2 tour and the problem is that I really can't afford both. I really would appreciate some feedback on this, thank you ladies!!!

go for the O2B2. IMATS comes back often which is so amazing about the event. ive been twice so you can always go another year :) ive never heard of O2B2 till recently and i dont need to spend that kind of money on that event when im already in school for the trade. i go to IMATS to see friends, the makeup artist and shop. the creativity just explodes there <3

Sorry Andrew!! :o)
Thanks Ashley, you are right I can always go to IMATS another time :o) I guess part of the reason why it's such a hard decision is because I have never been to NYC and well going to IMATS NY is the perfect opportunity to kill to two birds with one stone, hehehehe.

I think it boils down to what do you want to learn. Can you provide more info about O2B2 please?

Since I'm new to the beauty community, I had never heard of IMATS (I guess I have been living under a rock!) But now that I know about it, I really want to go. Ballpark, how much $$ would it take to go to one? There must be so many factors to take into consideration of course, but just a guesstimation...

Lisa... As you've read I have never been to IMATS so I'm not sure how much money one spends but considering there is a lot available I think I would buy quite a bit of goodies but my main expenses would be air travel and lodging because I live in Chicago and I would either go to NY or LA to attend IMATS.
