Hmm, can I say gel liner? Hahaha, if I had to choose between the two, I'd pick a liquid liner! You can still make a relatively thin and natural line, or make a crazy winged cat line :)
I would wear liquid liner WHENEVER and WHEREVER :)

I agree with Andrew. I am horrible with liquid liners. I always end up smudging it somehow. Pencil liners is where my heart is :)

if u cant choose gel (MY FAVE) i would pick liquid!!
i like clean lines so the liquid liners are my bff .. plus i LUV wingin my eyes.
it make my asian eyes into a awesom shape!

i use liquid on top and pencil on the bottom lash line. I have oily eyelids which tend to cause pencil liner to form an opposing line in my crease, which is visible when i blink.

Gel eyeliner please! It's easier to apply than liquid and glides on better than pencil. Everyone should try that, really!

You guys are great... All your entries have been informative. I honestly am not a fan of gel liners nor liquid. I find that eye kohls give my eyes more definition.

lol i hate both. i only use gel anymore. :P it use it for winging out liner, smudging, and on the water line.

I love both, and gel liners. Liquid liners are great for me when I do winged looks and when I am in a rush. I like using pencil on my waterline, and as for gel, I use it for any kind of looks on both my upper lashline and waterline.

Pencil or gel/cream. I've never liked liquid. I find it messy and too harsh of a line. I've always had better results with them. I feel like you have more control and can take your time and build the shape better.

For me i choose liquid eyeliner . It gives a clean & polish look. Even though its harder to apply but i dont like smudge effect of pencil liner at all.
