if you have curly hair what products do you use to have shiny, frizz free curls. or make them more manageable?

I have VERY curly (and frizzy) hair that I wear curly or straight, depending on the weather and my mood. When I'm wearing my hair curly I add a bit of John Frieda anti-frizz serum on my hair after I've washed and conditioned. Then I put a little bit more in the palm of my hand and mix with Garnier Fructis Pure Clean styling gel. I apply that to my hair and dry with a diffuser (my hair is super thick so it takes too long to air dry). I'm careful not to use too much gel because that stuff can make my hair feel sticky. And although it's typically a "no no", when my hair is all dry I make sure to scrunch up any areas that feel crunchy from the gel (that would be the areas that maybe I've used too much). Those two products work just fine in my hair to keep the curls defined and not frizzy. If you find that gels weigh your curls down, then I'd suggest a mousse and finish with hairspray.

I totally understand that. My hair is coarse anyway so I'm always fighting frizz. Plus I color it, apply heat, apply heat, apply heat. LOL. Hope you find something that works.

What I used lately is cantu shea butter leave-in conditioner. But I stopped to go use all "natural product". I wash my hair with baking soda and I rinse with apple cider vinegar rinse (diluted with water). There is quite a few tutorial on them on YT.
For leave in I use oils, this week I used Argan oil and I love it. My curls are super defined. You may want to air dry them, If you don't and avoid heat, If you don't. :)

I have curly hair also....I was comparing MoroccanOil as opposed to ITS A 10...and the Oil definitely makes my curls look 100% healthier....I put a dime sized ammount in before I dry it....then add mousse and curling spray! Moroccan Miracle! :)

I have mad curls and my best tip is don't f*ck with them, haha! I do as little as possible with my hair which I think prevents frizz. I Haven't heat styled probably for at least 6 years, and I never brush my hair when it's dry, only when wet. I use whatever shampoo/conditioner is on sale, and I used a pantene or garnier curl creme after I get out of the shower. That being said, I don't wear my hair down very often, so it doesn't matter too much what I do :p

I use Matrix hydrating shampoo and conditioner which has helped my hair enormously! Other than that I totally agree with Amy R and find the less I stuff around with my hair the better it looks when curly :)

My hair is super naturally curly and I have found over the years accidently too is that I put gel, any type will do but make sure my hair is still dripping wet and then as it dries along with the help of the hairdryer the alcohol in the gel evaporates just keeping my hair curly but not crunchy.

im not born with curl hair, so i permed it. when my hair is half dry i always use mythic oil by L'OREAL (new product here) im not sure if you can get it in the states or use kerastase-elixir but it much much expensive, like almost usd40 for 250ml. i'll say both effect are almost the same, but they said kerastase is much better than loreal, well i think mytic works great too. it makes my hair softer, smells nice, less tangled hair, less split ends. sometimes after using mythic and my hair is almost dry then i will use
Bedhead by TIGI (Ego Boost Split End Mender & Leave-In Conditioner) apply from ear to the ends. it will become stiff when it dried but thats what i like, its kinda like give more texture to my hair.
