My dresser is in the corner of my room, so I have a lot of boring white wall to fill. I put makeup ads from magazines there, but they were getting really old so it was time to replace them. Trouble is, all the pictures in magazines now aren't very inspiring, all just natural looks. So how else do I fill the space with inspiration? Help!

well, whenever you come over something gorgeous pictures on the internet, save them! when you've collected many, print 'em out, and hang 'em on the wall. don't know if it will work as great though!

What about getting one of those cheap art books @ Barnes & Noble and cutting out the pages? They're usually bigger sized books and they're in the Bargain Books section :)

I have a wall that i'm trying to decorate, but only a portion. i want to take decent sized piece of cork board, and frame it white (or any color to match your furniture) or you can use ribbon too. and use bright colored pins to put pictures of outfit inspirations or makeup inspiration on there. or you can find wall decals you can use too! check etsy or ebay for some of those.

If you're looking for inspiration, you can always go to your local hardware store and collect a range of paint chip samples and frame up the squares of colors! You can arrange them in different types of color schemes: complimentary, analagous, double-split complimentary color schemes, etc.! It'd def. help with when you're stuck trying to figure out color combinations that work, and it's a great minimal way to create art w/o the need for crazy creative artistic hands. =D

I would suggest to get a corkboard, cover it in fabric and secure that to your wall so you can add photos and change it out easier. On my desk downstairs I have one with my Sugarpill cards and stickers, some photos of loved ones and random stuff.

Im working on creating my own little slice of heaven in mine and the hubby's room. I took an old sofa table and painted it black, and the hubby bought a sheet of mirror and framed it with the bulb mirrors (i was dying for a old hollywood glam feel), still need to get makeup storage and I would LOVE a zebra print chair..lol! Im thinking along the lines of hot pink, black, and white theme! Totally girly! I did a post of before and after if you want to see.,,,

Zoe, you can use the same concept and use pics of flowers from magazines etc. I bet it would still look beautiful.
