If you were told today you could only purchase cosmetics from ONE company going forward, who would you pick? What was the determining factor into which brand you selected?

Allison G.
One company? ahh, Cameron! you make this so difficult. That's tough though.. Probably Make Up Forever. They have foundations, GREAT concealers, tons of shadows, blush, lippies etc.. so yeah, MUFE - definitely for me.

I think maybe Urban Decay. The problem is that it seems like every brand has several things I don't like, either about the products themselves or the color range. But if that really happened I would have to secretly trade with people who chose something else. :)

@Allison Were we switched at birth?? This is insane! lol.I wasn't going to say mine yet, but I agree MUFE is by far my favorite line of cosmetics.
@Kaynicole Lol. I know what you mean, I have a feeling like an underground railroad of some sort would come out of the woodwork = p

Maybe you're my long lost brother! lol - I was thinking MAC but their foundations ehh - some of them break me out after a period of use and I just think MUFE is a better brand over all and they have a lot over MAC... the size of their shadows compared to MAC for starters! and I do LOVE their concealer palette

I would go with ben nye, because all their products are amazing, the eyeshadows are really pigmented and they have halloween stuff too :D
though I dunno is too hard for my brain :P

@ Allison, I agree totally. MAC is okay, but MUFE foundations and concealers are impeccable and their eyeshadows are comparable if not better! Their HD powder and Elixir are great also!
I was actually just looking into their concealer paLIT like 5 mins ago because I just hit pan on my Ben Nye concealer wheel this morning. What do you like most about it? I also am interested in their Sculpting Kit.
@Antonio I do love Ben Nye also, their concealer is amaze-balls!

yeah, the MUFE paLIT is really great.. I never ever use the green one they give you, but the other 4 all match me, I can get away with pretty much using all of them, the consistency/pigmentation is really, REALLY good. .you should definitely give it a go.. the sculpting kit - I'm sure is great too. so far, out of their skin products, I've used the hi-def foundation, concealer and the HD powder - which was also amazing!

To be honest... private labeller. I stocked up when the Esthetique Spa International show was in Toronto this past April or May, I grabbed everything from lipsticks to brushes to clear empty cake pots. The quality is honestly amazing, pigments in everything I got were applied perfecty, and it's all dirt cheap. Literally $2 for a single pod, and the variety was huge. The ONE and only thing I didn't buy was foundation, but I was with somone who did and she was in love with it, so we'll see next time I go, will for sure be stocking up again. Buuuuut however if you really want an actual brand, Chanel all the way. The Mat Lumiere is seriously my savior.

@Christine I have never heard of Esthetique! The only even semi-Private Label I have had a chance to use is Mirabella, which I don't even consider private label, because my friend worked at a Pivot-Point school. I actually liked their foundation but color match was impossible. Thanks for sharing! Peaked my interest!

@Cameron http://www.spa-show.com/home.html :) I've heard Vegas is always the biggest and best, obv. But the best part was that some of the other make-up vendors were all from the same PL, just their own names, thinking nobody would catch on..

TooFaced. I love TOOFACED. I love how you get to make love to your eyes with their sexy, blendable eye shadow palettes and how you get to loose 10 lbs with their amazing bronzer. You don't want your makeup to move? NO problem, the shadow insurance is on it. Their brushes are to die for soft and I LOVE how I get to "inject" life on my lashes with an awesome mascara , as well as, liquif-eye my eyes with their liner. Clearly I'm feeling romantic as I write this ;)

I like TooFaced too! Chocolate soleil bronzer is great, I've had mine for over a year now and it STILL smells like chocolate cake

I think I'm going to have to go with NARS... I fell out of love with MAC... and MUFE is okay to me, I don't like their foundations.. and everything that I have used from NARS I fell in love with!

i love benefit, the only thing i wish they had better selection of is their eyeshadow, the colors they have aren't my favorite, but their lipglosses are amazing and i have to say i'm more of a lipgloss girl

Ooh... Hmm... And I probably shouldn't reply to this while drunk but I'm sure my answer would be the same anyway. Make Up Forever. For sure.
I've tried their primers, foundations, concealers, eyeshadows, etc. and they have never (NEVER) failed me. In fact, I think MUFE actually helped me get into make-up as a whole. The SAs in the store were exceedingly kind and helpful and I'll always appreciate their assistance.
And I'm not THAT drunk. Or am I?

MUFE hands down! To those of u thinking on a starter kit, get their holiday train case! It's such a value! I got the Rock Forever train case from last year, and I use EVERYTHING! Close to $600 worth of full sized products for a little over $350? Do you even have to think about that? XD

Urban Decay, hands down for me!
