Reaction to Purple/Pink Shadow?

Hey! Has anyone ever had a reaction to a specific color shadow? For me its happening with purple and pink. It doesn't matter the tone, brand, etc. My eyelids will itch, turn red, and sometimes even swell! For example, I did the rainbow eyeliner look the other day. I removed my makeup at night and my eyelid was pink right where the purple portion of the liner was. Then this weekend I was practicing a smokey look using Wet n Wild's Lust palette. I swear I had the shadow on for less than 30 minutes before I removed it and washed my face but I still woke up with a swollen eyelid the next day. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Has anyone found a way to avoid this (besides just avoiding those colors)? Using a primer doesn't make a difference for me. I'm testing it right now with a nice layer of NYX's Jumbo Pencil in Milk to see if that helps avoid direct contact. Any advice is appreciated!
