Currently Im using Maybelline Dream Matte Powder and I like it a lot, but Im ready to try something new and I need some suggestions! I dont want any too expensive unless it really is worth the money! I prefer something on the matte side for summer, but any suggestions will work! :) thanks!

Usually I don't set my foundation either. The only thing I have is the BareMinerals Mineral Veil. I'll just read the rest of this thread for all your favorite products for setting foundation.

Depending on my mood I'll either set my foundation with Mac's MSFN, Nars Loose Powder in mountain, or MUFE HD powder. lol a girl's gotta have choices.

I use Pur Minerals 4-in-1 pressed powder. I LOOOOVE it! I believe it's around $25 & ulta carries it. I have dry skin so I went the longest time without using any kind of powder because I was worried my skin would look cakey. but this has shea butter in it so it feels great on the skin!!

I am now using Revlon's photoready pressed powder. It's good nothing bad to say about it. I used to use MACs MSF Natural but I kept finding that it would cake up on me. :(

The "high end" powders that I really, really love are the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder from MAC, and the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder. I'm not sure if you can get this brand out of the UK, but for a great "drugstore" powder, the Natural Collection one is very impressive.

I've used e.l.f.'s High Definition powder and NYC's loose powder (I don't think the latter is available in the UK, though) over the last year. I tend to reach for the NYC one a bit more. (e.l.f.'s is $6 USD; NYC's is around $3 USD.) I've not used a high end one.

I'm using MAC Mineralized SkinFinish Natural at the moment.
If you're looking for something cheap I would look into Revlon Photo Ready powder or Revlon Color Stay powder.

I use MUFE HD powder, but I also have ELF's HD powder which is a fraction of the price. I still prefer the MUFE version... but ELF isn't such a bad dupe. The only difference is the amount of slip each powder has when rubbed into the skin. MUFE HD is smoother... ELF's isn't as smooth, but sets almost as well. =)

I use the N.Y.C Smooth Skin Pressed Face Powder. It works great for me because I can use it to set foundation and just use it by itself on days i skip foundation and it gives me just enough coverage. It's totally inexpensive too, so it's my favorite product by far!
