Hi everyone! I'd like to purchase an 88 shade eye shadow palette, and I'm debating between purchasing one from BH cosmetics or Coastal Scents. I've heard great things about both companies, so what do you guys think? Which one is better quality? Which is more wearable? Or are they pretty much exactly the same? Thanks guys! <3

Both purchased by wholesale from the same manufacturere from China. They're both the SAME THING. :D
Not only that, but you can find the pallets on Ebay for like... $10 bc they're purchased from wholesale. :)

They do have some palettes that are the same, but they also have others that aren't. BH Cosmetics has the tropical and cool palettes and Coastal Scents doesnt. So there are differences, but yeah, they come from the same wholesaler.

I just realized I won't be buying them anyway because I'm trying to go paraben-free. :( So sad... they looked like such a great bargain! Lol thanks for your help anyway guys. :)

If you're going paraben free and are looking for palettes try Tarte. They make gorgeous palettes, although they are smaller with fewer colors. They are pricey so if you're looking for an inexpensive brand check out Physician's Formula - their Shimmer Strips palettes are around $9 but they are pretty small.

I've actually had both the Tarte and Physicians Formula websites open all day!! Lol you read my mind!!! :D I'm really looking forward to trying both of them... I don't think I'll ever be able to find something as great a bargain as Coastal Scents/BH Cosmetics but I guess if I'm going to go a bit unconventional then I'll have to pay for it. :P Thanks!!!

Yeah I wonder since they are made in china, my friend told me they stained her eyes and broke her out and she found out there are a ton of parabens, and chemicals that break out the skin.

Andrea G. is 100% correct! It's the same exact thing! I get a kick out of youtube videos when people compare them. IT'S THE SAME THING lol
