I have similar skin to your's! :) I'd suggest to not use scrubs (or at least the really harsh ones) because they can be abrasive on your skin and make it worse. Use something with salicylic acid as an exfoliant...the one I'm using now is Clinique's Mild Clarifying Lotion (its actually a toner with .5% salicylic acid, so I put it on right after I use my cleanser), but another good one that I looked up online is the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment, which has a 2% concentration of salicylic acid so it will be a bit stronger. Here's a list of some good ones: http://www.beautypedia.com/BestProductsDetails.aspx?bcid=35 I also use a cleansing brush (the olay pro-x, which is like the clarisonic) every night so I have a little bit of manual exfoliation. I've been doing this routine for about 3 weeks (as well as using a really gentle cleanser) and I haven't had one breakout since!
If you want to spot treat acne, the best product I've used is Clean & Clear's Persa-Gel, which gets rid of it pretty quickly. I'm also trying out Clinique's acne treatment b/c I got a sample at Sephora and its pretty good as well, though more expensive.
I hope that helps! =)

I LOVE Paula Begoun's Beautypedia! I've been using her reviews for about 10 years now and it's great to see other's use it as well Melanie.
Like Melanie, I do not suggest using a exfoliating scrub; anything more coarse than baking powder in face wash can be too harsh on the skin. Salicylic acids (BHAs) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) can work wonders. I've been using a 2% BHA on my skin for years and it really helps to keep my face smooth.
