On my poor college student budget, there's only room for one new makeup product a month. For July, I'd really like to get a high quality under eye concealer.
What do you suggest?
Maybe more importantly, which do you definitely suggest I DON'T get?

I use a combination of the garnier anti dark circle eye roller and benefit boi-ing concealer. Gives amazing coverage and once set it doesn't stray. Plus you can touch up with the eye roller as the day goes on over top of your makeup, and you don't need to set it with anything!

On a budget? I really like the NYX concealer jars! They work great for me. My HG concealer is the Eve Pearl Salmon concealer, but that's definitely more on the pricey side at $37.50.

I'm loving my Bobbi Brown corrector! It's $22 so it's pretty pricy, but also cheaper than the Eve Pearl one...

I find that any concealer works im using a cheep one that I got at claires and it covers pretty well but I find that its not the concealer but the way you apply the concealer I always use a brush and get amazing results and it doesnt even have to be a concealer brush haha I use a paintbrush

If you have dark ender eye circles (like me) I'd recommend the Illamasqua cream pigment in Emerge. I know not so much for a budget but It has so many uses I think its kind of worth it. Depending on your skin type you can use it as an eyeshadow base, under your eyes, lips and cheeks.

Rimmel London has great concealers and they're really cheap. That's what I use whenever I don't use my foundation. I don't necessarily use my foundation for my entire face. Sometimes I just use it under the eyes because it has the most natural finish/coverage.

I have yet to find the right concealer that works for me. Or maybe my dark circles are just too much to work with. The NYX concealer works fine, but still creases up a bit every now and then. I too can't afford to spend too much on eye concealer. I have also tried Benefit's Erase Paste, Elf's, Revlon, MAC....

Benefit Bo-ing concealer is the best!

Eve pearl is well worth the money, but MAC Studiofinish is pretty darn good too. DON'T get concealers that aren't meant for your skin...if you have dry skin get a creamier one and if you have oily skin, get a thicker, drier one.

I'd say Smashbox concealer for undereyes is my favorite! It's really blendable and isn't thick so it just highlights the area.

I'm not a fan of pot/paste concealers... I just received Tarte's Maracuja creaseless concealer, and I am in love!!! They run really light, and for now, it's only exclusive to QVC, but it's the most pigmented and easiest to blend! I love that it's in a squeeze tube [hygenic!] but it's so thick and creamy! It does not settle into fine lines or emphasize flaws! You guys have to try it! I just got it as a part of the Glow Your Way To Gorgeous set and I wrote an entire breakdown of it on my blog: www.kabukivoodoo.com
I know it's not sold at Sephora just yet, but trust me - this stuff is awesome! I'm an NC 30 and I purchased it in medium... but I want to also get it in tan.
Get the set - it's under $60, but you get 8 full-sized items, plus 2 deluxe sized samples. It's the best set I've purchased to date!

I used to love Stila Perfecting concealer but now I use Dior Hydrate Under eye concealer!!! The Stila was a little to thick for my preference. It covered great...but the thickness was a little insane. The Dior has just as great coverage but it a lot creamer for under eye application. I set it with Abbott's Perk Me Up from Everyday Minerals! I don't recommend using JUST a power concealer because they come off soooo easily if worn alone. But if worn with a liquid or cream concealer they can help staying power sooo much!

I have the worst time with under eye concealer because my skin is so dry that you can see it all packing on underneath my eyes. I have tried quite a few because I could not find one that worked for me... I haven't tried a TON of concealers but I have found my favorites. My favorite liquid concealer is Stila Illuminating concealer. Erase paste is also very good, if you prefer a more solid and thick one (the texture is similar to NYX concealer jar) and will last your FOREVER since all you have to do is touch your finger to the top and not even swipe or scoop at all and that is enough - otherwise it could get cakey. But such a small amount is fine since it is "erase paste" after all.
If you want to try something easily accessed and cheaper, about a month ago I got the concealer stick by Revlon photo ready and it is actually amazing. The coverage is opaque and it is VERY smooth and creamy. You do not need to pack on a ton and it is not dry, sticky, or lumpy like some concealers of the stick type can be. ANYWAY, I guess I blabbed on a lot, but I hope this helps with a range of choices!

I personally like TimeBalm Concealer by TheBalm. I've been using it since February and it really does the job right for covering the circles under my eye. I use a fluffy brush to blend it out and try to use it sparingly because the coverage is amazing and you really don't need that much to cover.

I'm in love with IT Cosmetics Bye bye under eye concealer. It has vitamins and was created to cover plastic surgery scars and bruising! It's super creamy, waterproof and has good things in it to improve skintone and texture! I love it I think it's great!

I know this sounds strange & I don't expect anybody to try this because it sounds odd. But it's cheap & it works.
After I apply foundation, normal face concealer AND powder, I'll take my $1 ELF Tone Correcting Concealer & apply it OVER my powder. The reason why is because I find that as you pat in the concealer, it seems to melt in w/ the powder & creates a nice, opaque concealer. It's SO watery so it doesn't cake up, it just melts right in.
Alone, this concealer blows, but over powder it's the best under eye concealer I've ever had. It's not thick or drying. It turns rather creamy & feels moisturizing as well. I discovered this by accident - It works for me. :D

I use the Garnier anti dark circle roller, and if I need some more coverage I use MAC's pro longwear concealer over it :)
