I picked mine up in Las Vegas - the kit, extra plates and a wheel of rhinestones for under $45. Have you checked Amazon.com?

I bought mine from http://www.wowsocool.com but I'm sure you can find them elsewhere. I bought the least expensive kit and then purchased the plates I wanted separately instead of getting ones that were just okay in the kits.

Here's a link to a bundle of plates on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Nailart-Stamping-Manicure-Accessories/dp/B003ILUQPM/ref=sr_1_2?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1311571874&sr=1-2
I have some Konad name brand plates (usually cost $3-$7 depending on source) and this particular off-brand set (less than $1 per plate) and I can tell you that the name brand and off brand plates work the same.
The only thing I've noticed in Konad brand-name plates is that the full-nail designs are larger. For example, I have a konad plate and an off-brand plate that both have a full nail zebra design. The Konad design measures 1.3cm X 1.5cm and the off-brand measures 1cm X 1.4cm. If you have wider nails and love full-nail designs, I'd recommend getting the Konad plates.
That's pretty much what I did: I bought the bundle and when it came, figured out what I wanted that wasn't there and filled in the blanks with Konad plates.
If you search 'konad' in the beauty category of Amazon, you get results for plates, stampers, scrapers and accessories.
