i think the colors are gorgeous. they are all cool purples and blues. its a little pricey but i'm thinking about it. im more of a neutrals girl though.

I like that it's all limited edition colors, and they all look great. But my budget can't handle that right now unfortunately. There's nothing really I HAVE to have in the palette, and a lot of the shadows look similar to ones UD already released or other shadows I have.

It sold out within hours of being launched. I stayed up til 1 or 2 AM for it to show up on the site and never saw it so I went to bed. Woke up at 9:30 AM and saw I got an e-mail at 9:24 AM. Went to buy it and it was sold out.

LOL I'm use to having not that much sleep since I have kids. This mommy makes daddy get up with the kids during summer so mommy can have a couple of hours extra sleep! LOL

I was really pissed yesterday because at the preview, they told me it'd be on sale the 11th, not the 12, so I ended up staying up until like 3AM on the 12th just in case they released it late. Then I found out it was released like 3 hours later when I was sleeping and sold out already! I didn't get an email either. I definitely plan on getting it, I've never had more lust over a palette in my life. I do have everything else in the collection though so I can hold off until August.

This pallette is deffinitly a must have. All the colors are limited edition and the part that I love about it is when you are done with the shadows you can pull out the layer of shadows ( which is meant to be removed ) and use it as a keepsake/jewlery box which also comes with a mirror.

If i don't get this one ( I didn't get the alice and wonderland version ever which was something I REALLY wanted!) then I'll get the Tarte's true blood palette. I hate that these things sell out so fast! It's like they don't make enough on purpose! lol jk but it does suck =(

Im not going to get it. All of their other shadow boxes come w eyeliners and a lot more product for $50. for me its not worht it. BUT if you want it they still have a bunch on urban decays actual website urbandecay.com and they have free shipping and samples w it :)

I'm actually surprised I was able to snag one. I put it in my cart and meandered around the Ulta website for a while. I ended up finding a sample beauty bag to put in my cart as well that is free when you spend over $25. I was half expecting it to be sold out by the time I went to pay (and kind of hoping it was too lol. I'm going on a no buy after this)

@Layla: You are aware that the shadows in the palette are *exclusive to the palette*, right? And that you'll be able to reuse the box once you're finished with the shadows? IMO, that alone would make it worth the $55.

Plus, personally, I'm glad it doesn't come with a travel-size UDPP, or eyeliner, or anything else. I think it *should* be just the eyeshadows for this very special palette.

the thing ive come to realize about UD products and Ulta, is that even though it may be sold out online, CHECK YOUR LOCAL STORES!! i was freaking out over the naked palette because i wanted it so badly and i checked EVERYWHERE even on ulta.com... but the second i walked into the Ulta store, they had like 10 of them! so dont lose faith guys!!
