My bangs get really oily the next day after washing my hair, but the other parts of my hair are perfectly fine. I don't really want to wash my hair daily just for the sake of my bangs..any ideas on solving this? Thank you!

Don't put conditioner in the roots.or you could tease it some and spray it a little bit with hairspray.

I'm going to try to shop for a dry shampoo later =) thanks everyone! For now I'll take the advice of pinning it back since I'm still at school..=)

If your going to a drug store, you're correct you won't find a good dry shampoo. If this is a serious problem for you, choose to invest in the good professional stuff

I had the same problem when I had shorter bangs because they were always in my face and the oils from my face would contribute to it. Before I discovered dry shampoo.. (This was like 6 years ago..) I actually would either use a little bit of baby powder or wash them seperately in my sink with my hair pulled back. Now that Dry shampoo is way more common now I use that instead of baby powder and I honestly love it. Dry shampoo is a lifesaver. Just play around with it and find one you like :)

Sprinkle baby powder on the roots of your hair and shake out the excess!! Works incredibly well! I've used this when in a pinch many times :))

I usually use dry shampoo and when that doesn't suffice, I just tie my hair back and wash only my bangs.  :)

Baby powder works just like dry shampoo!

My sister has this issue, and she legitimately washes just her bangs in the sink! She does them at night on days she doesn't wash all of her hair. It sounds (and looks) funny, but it helps!

I agree with Robyn, just pull the rest of your hair back and shampoo your bangs then style as usual :D I do it during the summer.

I would try baby powder just pour some in your hand and dab into roots of your bangs. I have also heard loose bronzer works if you have darker hair. Also, try to avoid running your hands through your bangs. When you wash hair make sure to apply plenty of shampoo to the roots of your bangs.

Batiste is a great brand for dry shampoo. Since I have dark hair, I buy the one with brown tones to it. A lot of dry shampoos leave a dusty white residue on your hair. If you're blonde, it should be ok. But brunettes should try this product, I love it.
